The Truck Axle Straps have a sleeve of high strength polyester webbing sewn into a strip. They are then woven into a pattern that approximates the shape of the axle. The combination of the rings and the webbing produces a greater strength and durability than can be found anywhere else. For use with all conventional winches and cable/ratchet type winches that have a sewn axle. Do not use a winch with cable/ratchet type winches as the cable/ratchet combination tends to chafe the vehicle. For this reason, always use a winch with a lifting surface that has not been dropped, such as in a parking lot, near a loading dock, or near a trailer hitch.
